Kliavkoff was most recently the commissioner of the Pac12 - Conference. Previously, he was the President of Entertainment and Sports for MGM Resorts International, where he oversaw operations, finance, strategy, booking, marketing, sponsorships, and ticketing for more than 35 arenas, theaters, showrooms and arenas. MGM Resorts was the third largest live events companies in the world and Kliavkoff’s portfolio spanned hundreds of A-list concerts, five Cirque du Soleil shows, and professional and collegiate sporting events. Kliavkoff also led BetMGM’s strategic growth, served on its board and oversaw the trading function at MGM Resorts’ 13 race and sports books

Earlier in his career, Kliavkoff was CEO of Disney-backed startup Jaunt XR (acquired by Verizon), Co-President of Hearst Entertainment & Syndication, President of Hearst Ventures, NBC Universal’s first Chief Digital Officer where he co-created Hulu, and an Executive VP for Major League Baseball Advanced Media. Kliavkoff started his career as a lawyer at prestigious law firms in Los Angeles and Seattle. Kliavkoff has also served on boards including Cirque du Soleil, A+E Networks, the WNBA, The Pasadena Tournament of Roses, and the College Football Playoffs. Kliavkoff holds a BA from Boston University and a JD from the University of Virginia
